The current situation of Kenya’s economy is really shocking and there is need to start a healing process by establishing strong political mechanisms and strategies.
As we are nearing election dates the incoming government has a lot to undertake to ensure Kenyans are back to friendly living standards.
We are presently running petrol shortage a scenario that we don’t even understand the cause. Kenyans are really pitched not from high costs of living but also high levels of unemployment. A good percentage of youths are jobless and this has led to some resorting to drug and substance abuse which in turn has tampered with security of the country.
We are experiencing so many cases of crime attacks, raping and cattle rustling in most parts of the country which have become a big threat to security and this is as a result of employment and idleness of youths.
The incoming government must be fully prepared to fight and end corruption with all costs which may be required because it has totally ruined our economy where some leaders in power chose to embezzle funds set for public development projects.
The government has a mandate to ensure that all Kenyan get good services in social amenities, access to clean water and affordable food. And also ensure that its citizens’ rights and resources are fully safeguarded. I assure you that if we will not heal and build our economy Kenyans will continue suffering in all coming generations.
