Annotation. Although known as the age of technology today, the importance of reading books is not lost. The book enriches the human knowledge, raises the ability to think and feed on their psyche. Unfortunately, the habit of reading among young people has declined significantly. So what is the reason for this? Why don’t youth want to catch a book than phone? In this article, we will consider ways to promote young people to read young people.

By arousing the interest of the younger generation in the reader, we can form a future knowledgeable, cultural and enlightened society. If parents and family members are not accustomed to reading a book, this process for children does not seem interesting and important. The absence of a reader culture prevents this habit from among young people. Lack of programs and activities in schools reduces the interest of students. In most cases, students are limited to textbooks only, which moves the book from target reading. Young people prefer quick results, which works against reading a book that takes a long time. Reading a book is an important source for the growth and expansion of the worldview. The book introduces a person to various sciences, cultures and historical events.
