This article talks about the digital technologies that have become the content of our lives today and the importance of digital technologies in the field of primary education. The advantages of correct and rational use of digital technologies for students in primary schools are also discussed.

The Introduction of Digital Technologies into the Education System

By the 1990s, a number of changes occurred in the education system. In particular, the rapid integration of digital technologies into education for teachers, the creation of new methodological guides, and yearly innovations for teachers led to significant shifts. It is important to note that digital technologies have become an indispensable part of education.

Today, it is impossible to imagine the education system without digital technologies. Especially in primary education, teachers benefit greatly from organizing lessons using digital technologies. The advantages of utilizing digital tools in primary education include the following:

  • Firstly, it helps to develop in students the skill of using modern technologies wisely.
  • Teachers and students can make more effective use of their time.
  • Learners receive education in line with global standards in real time.

Organizing lessons by utilizing the aforementioned benefits is highly significant for students. Considering that almost every household today has access to technological tools, children often perceive computers, phones, and similar devices merely as tools for “playing games.” However, when they come to school, the educator introduces students to effective and productive ways to use these technological tools.

Moreover, when lessons are organized using various methods and interesting exercises through digital technologies, as well as interactive games related to the subject using online platforms, students’ understanding of these tools changes entirely. From the very first lessons, students begin to realize the advantages of digital technologies.

The Role of Electronic Textbooks in Primary Education

The methodology for mastering electronic textbooks in primary education involves properly distributing time for primary school teachers when using electronic textbooks. The role of electronic textbooks in primary education includes several advantages:

  • Openness of Information. The information uploaded by the teacher can be freely accessed by parents, allowing them to continuously monitor their children’s lessons.
  • The Advantage of Information Transmission. In this context, we can consider the convenience of assigning additional tasks during the lesson and checking them easily.
  • Convenience of Creating New Topic-Related Materials. Today, using digital technologies, it is possible to create many creative exercises for subjects like mathematics, science, and language arts on various platforms, which helps increase students’ interest in the lessons and organize meaningful classes.
  • Focusing on Less Active Students. It is also important to note that not all students have the same learning pace, and digital technologies provide convenience and opportunities in these cases. In particular, teachers can work individually with students who learn more slowly and explain topics using simple, real-life examples.

Supporting education, which is the most significant investment for the New Uzbekistan, holds profound meaning in the words of our enlightened scholars: “Salvation is in education, salvation is in upbringing, salvation is in knowledge.” Indeed, today’s changes and innovations in the education system contribute greatly to the emergence of well-educated and knowledgeable professionals in the new Uzbekistan.

Conclusion

Just as each era has its own characteristics, it also has its own development strategies. Taking into account the modern requirements and changes introduced to the education system, preparing personnel in line with global standards and integrating digital technologies into the education system, especially in primary schools, will undoubtedly lead to significant improvements in a short time
