The New Democrats (TND) national chairman Thuo Mathenge yesterday led his party officials in mourning President Mwai Kibaki.
Scores of TND leaders visited the former president’s family where Jimmy Kibaki who is the party’s Deputy party leader hosted them.
He was accompanied by among others, TND candidates from various parts of the county including Kisii, Samburu, Makueni and Nyeri.
Jimmy Kibaki has also declared his interest for the Nyeri senatorial seat.
“We have lost as TND family as Mzee was part of our undertaking mainly in Nyeri and Kenya at large,” Dr Mathenge who is contesting the Nyeri County gubernatorial seat noted
