Two suspects have appeared in Kisii law court under miscellaneous application over alleged murder of a secondary deputy principal .
It is said that the bizarre incident took place on Sunday night inside a bar and the incident was captured in a CCTV camera.
The suspects Cyprian Karuri and Pauline Moraa were arrested by police officers from Nyanchwa police station over the allegations of murder of Johnstone Ndege after a love affair went soar.
The investigation officer Wickliffe Mburu filed an application asking to detain the two suspects for 14 days pending investigation.
Moraa’s lawyer Hamphray Mageto opposed the application saying his client is a civil savant who will be available whenever she will be needed in assisting with the investigation.
Further Mageto said his client will not tamper with any investigation and therefore no need to hold her for all those days.
“My client is a civil servant, detaining her for all this days will interfere with her work calendar, said Mageto.
The Magistrate Wa Kugwa Wahinya ordered the suspects to be held for four days pending investigation before plea taking on 14th, April, 2023.
“The two will be detained at Nyanchwa police station pending investigation they will appear in this court on Friday this week,”Said the court magistrate.
Its alleged 34 year old Cyprian Karuri who is a boyfriend to Pauline Moraa caught her with 53 year old Ndege getting out of the pub rooms, this is when he took a knife and stabbed him.
It’s also alleged Karuri had a disagreement with his girlfriend who snatched her car keys from him, he contracted a boda boda rider to monitor her moves around town as he went to visit his wife who stay in the village.
In the evening the rider called Karuri and informed him Moraa was picked at one supermarket in Kisii town and driven towards Mosocho,Karuri ordered the rider to follow them.
Karuri left his home and got to pillers pub where the two had entered to enjoy themselves.
Karuri arrived and waited for them to get out and this is when he took a knife and stabbed the deceased person and run away.
The deceased was rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital where he was pronounced dead in a heinous crime as the two were arrested the following day.
