UDA Kisii Team Urge Electorates To Choose Leaders With Track Records

Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has been cleared by Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission to vie for senatorial seat through UDA.
Mr Maangi has been serving as deputy governor for two terms under leadership of Governor James Ongwae.
Speaking with the press, Mr Maangi said that he has now kicks off the campaign.
“Am now free to go out and taskfor votes from the electorates,” he said.
Mr Maangi was flanked by Kisii gubernatorial candidate Ezekiel Machogu, Ogamba Migosi, Teresa Bitutu and Dolphine Bwari.
Kisii gubernatorial aspirant Ezekiel Machogu says that they have an agenda to transform Kisii County to a better place.
Mr Machogu said that if elected they are going to uplift the vulnerable in the society and bring more development in the county.
According to him, his experience has a civil servant for many years speaks for itself when it comes to the development issues.
“Have been ranked best the performance Nyaribari Masaba mp and while serving as county commissioner I was also awarded due to my performance,”Machogu saids.
He urged the electorates to choose leaders with tracking records, citing that Kenya Kwanza team stands a better chance to govern the county.
Mr Ogamba Migosi deputizing Machogu said that they are asking the government to bar the civil servants from carrying out campaigns to their preferred candidates.
“We cannot feel fair ground, when a section of civil servants are busy campaigning for other candidates,” Mr Migosi said.
He cited that the government should take a Stern action to such civil servants.
Ms Bitutu said that she will share affirmative action fund equitably more so to reach at the grassroot level.
They appealed to voters to turn in large numbers at polling stations and vote for the leaders they want so that they do not complain when bad leaders are elected.

Also they applauded the Commission for its efficiency and effectiveness, saying it is a sign that the Commission has improved and is ready to conduct the election fairly and credibly.
However, they appealed to their rivals to embrace peaceful campaigns and sell their policies for voters to decide their fate during the August 9 General Election
The leaders said that they will make sure they rally behind Dr William Ruto and become the fifth president of the republic of Kenya.
