UDA Leaders Urge Unity Ahead Of County Grassroots Elections In Nyandarua

UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar attended a pre-party grassroots election sensitization exercise at Miharati Catholic Church in Kipipiri Constituency, ahead of the January 10 polls scheduled in 20 counties.
The sensitization drive, which has been conducted across all 20 counties ahead of the upcoming elections, concluded with the Secretary General calling on Kenyans to abandon tribal tendencies and embrace inclusivity, emphasizing that collective progress can be achieved through unity, as championed by President William Ruto.
Speaking at the event, UDA National Treasurer Japheth Nyakundi thanked Nyandarua residents for their continued support for the party.
Executive Director Nicodemas Bore also praised Nyandarua County Woman Representative Faith Wairimu for her steadfast commitment and active participation in UDA activities.
The three-week educational campaign drew top county leaders who commended President Ruto’s government for transforming Nyandarua’s road network, a development they noted had been long neglected by previous administrations.
Other notable attendees included UDA Election Dispute Resolution Committee member Joseph Anjichi, Ndaragwa MP George Gachagua, Olkalou MP David Kiaraho, Kinangop MP Kwenya Thuku, and a host of MCAs including Peter Kagwe (Ndaragwa Central) and nominated MCAs Joyce Munyua,Naomi Ngatia, Naomi Kabiru,Jane Nyathira, Muhindi Kariuki, Steve Murithi, and Milka Nyambura.
The event underscored UDA’s commitment to grassroots engagement and fostering national unity ahead of the county-level elections.
