What does the Renaissance mean? Let me express my personal understanding of this word. Renaissance means awakening, rebirth, development. This word usually develops the thinking, science and cultural development of humanity.
The Renaissance period has occurred several times around the world. Let me tell you one of them. This Renaissance period also took place in Europe, in the 14th and 16th centuries. During this time, the European people could not come out of their shell in a certain sense. That is, for a certain time they lived with religious restrictions. However, over time, the European people also began the Renaissance period. That is, people began to think, think critically, and science developed. There are also scientists who made a high contribution during the period of the rise, they are Galileo Galilei, Shakespeare and Leonardo da Vinci.
Of course, Uzbekistan also had a period of growth and revival. Let me briefly describe the first Renaissance twice. So, the first Renaissance was in the 9th-11th centuries. At that time, scientists such as Ibn Sina and Ferghani were the founders of the Renaissance. After all, these scientists improved sciences such as physics, algebra, and medicine.
The Renaissance in Europe took place in the 14th-16th centuries. Scientists such as Mirzo Ulugbek, Behbudi, and Navoi lived during this time and also brought great benefits to the second Renaissance. Our scientists developed several sciences.
The Third Renaissance is today’s goal, our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is putting forward the idea of the Third Renaissance. What does this mean? It means that if we, the youth, gain knowledge, expand our worldview, master modern technologies, and advance our culture, we will begin the third Renaissance. For this, the head of our state must create opportunities. The main ways in which we create opportunities for young people are: organizing education, further increasing the interest of young people in science, providing them with modern technologies, and developing our national culture.
Personally, I am currently studying, researching, and in general, learning as much as possible, and this is the stage of the third Renaissance. If every young person thinks broadly, dreams and turns their dreams into goals, acquires knowledge and forms their literacy, and at the same time does useful work for our Motherland, the Renaissance will become not only history, but also, with a high probability, the present.
