Most likely, it is your spiritual foundation or conditions which do not allow riches or success: the sickness is in the spirit, consider 2 Kings 2:19: “ The men of the city said to Elisha, “ Look , our Lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”
When you correct the spiritual conditions or foundations, then you are going to prosper. You need to correct every wrong foundation – which basically is spiritual. In some cases inquiry prayers may be required until a spiritual solution is found. Have a diagnostic ear, hear physically and be tuned to God spiritually: what is he saying! Be keen to ask questions, especially as a counsellor or minister in order to discover what ails a person and also for your own correct understanding.
Psalm 32: 1- 5 “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. 3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah. 5’ I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
The Bible states clearly that whosoever hides his sin shall not prosper (Proverbs 28:13). Also, note, it is important to read and meditate on these sermons delivered to you from me, through inspiration of the Holy Spirit, but I also urge you to read other sermons( previous and following) in order to fully understand the message, and also get help and solutions. For example, in this sermon, it has touched on one source of our problem! But there are others!
