“At the same time, it is the latest in the field of information and communication, it will be necessary to pay attention to increase the interest of young people in reading books along with mastering achievements, to make them friends with books, to further increase the reading level of the population.”
Shavkat Mirziyoyev
Each of us, regardless of profession, communicates with a book to one degree or another, based on our capabilities and circumstances. We spend a certain part of our dimensional life on this. But not all of us think deeply about what book to read, its effects and consequences, why we read books at all.
Fiction introduces us to people and takes us on adventures that we miss in real life. The characters become our friends, behavior models and advisers. We argue with them, we hate them and we support them. At the same time, we experience real emotions. By reading literature, we not only escape from reality, but gain new experience.
Fiction is a product of human activity. Human activities are wide and varied. Human activity includes such aspects as “labor activity”, “spiritual activity”, “aesthetic activity”, which are directly or indirectly related to each other. Moreover, spiritual activity itself exhibits aspects of “mental”, “emotional”, “spiritual” activity.
Fiction is a product of human creative and spiritual activity, based on the laws of beauty. Therefore, the assumption of one-sidedness in the definition of fiction, understanding it only as social consciousness or only as an artistic phenomenon, revives the essence of the subject, leads us away from understanding its nature. At the beginning of the 20th century, our great compatriot Cholpon posed the question “Is literature rare?
Unfortunately, many people cannot read, and many do not even understand why they read. Some see this as a difficult but only way to get an education. In their opinion, any book can make a person “educated.” For others, reading is relaxation, just passing the time and reading anything (articles, novels, poems, news, etc.), as long as it is not boring. The reader who just wants to relax, spend time and cares only about being “educated” will feel in the book some unknown force that cleanses the heart and inspires a person.
However, he cannot clearly imagine and appreciate this power. Such a reader is like a patient who is completely ignorant of medicine that does, not understand what medicine he needs, he begins to try every box. Indeed, from the point of view of reading, is it not acceptable that everyone should have the opportunity to find only those books that he needs, which can give new strength and spiritual influence?
Literature is one of the most important factors in the development of human thinking. Fiction in literature to the community, mentality, history, religion, culture and beliefs of a particular people are embodied.
So, a person can see the world through literature, understands, and reaches a certain spiritual height. His love for literature, the reader’s love for him. The role of science teachers in awakening is important. Already today our youth, who are growing up in the era of globalization, in the turmoil of the technological age. It is also true that being interested in literature and reading works of art is not easy.
Language and literature taught at the lower and higher levels of school education, that his classes are not at the expected level, approaches in literature textbooks, the child’s critical thinking, an independent attitude to events occurring around him, a question that serves to form and clarify thinking and most of the tasks with textbooks language and literature of developed countries.
The fact that the country is in a relatively strange situation has become a big political problem several times, this has been noted in circles and in the press. We tend to make blanket judgments about what we want to know.
However, most existing phenomena, including literature, should be considered as a phenomenon that combines such complex and contradictory aspects. If we focus on the first of the questions posed – whether literature is art or a field of consciousness, then this is quite understandable.
In subsequent years, the principle of understanding literature as “pure art” and seeing in it only the phenomenon of art is observed as a reaction to extremely bare socialized literature, the practice of educating the masses in the communist spirit and subordinating it to the communist spirit, similar goals.
The question, often rose in literary discussions, of whether literature should be social or not, arose and intensified under the influence of the literary policy of the Soviet period. Just as it cannot be denied that literature is social, it cannot be denied that it is an individual and personal phenomenon. This statement is put forward not only in the interests of compromise, but in the interests of taking an interval – the safest position in the dispute. To answer this question, we need to dwell on the question of the subject of literature. Literary works and textbooks indicate that “the subject of fiction is man.
“However, it would be wrong to understand this idea narrowly and to give it an absolute character. Because literature studies man not separately (in isolation), but in integral connection with society, nature (in one word – existence).
After all, it is impossible to imagine a person without them; in isolation, a person by nature is a social phenomenon. As long as both the subject of literature and its creator are people, literature cannot but be social.
Why is a work written, why does the creator begin to write a work? After all, didn’t the people and events he encountered in his daily life simmer in his heart and mind, make him unable to write and forced him to pick up the pen? So, whether we like it or not, literature is genetically a social phenomenon. However, this is literally a personal phenomenon in terms of its creation, attitude towards the world, those feelings and thoughts that arise in connection with this world.
