I’m from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

I’m a freelance writer.

My book was published on the 4th of January 2022
- Who is your illustrator?
My illustrator is/was Wellington Ncube who is a Graphic Designer by profession
- Did you make an input-on cover design?
Yes, I suggested, “The Thinker” image on the cover
- Your best poem from your book, tell us more about that poem
My best poem is, “Has slavery really ended” because it addresses Modern Day Slavery. We are enslaved by our jobs and also we have disregarded family values because of our social media addiction. That also us a form of slavery. We might not be in literal chains but thinking deeply about it we are enslaved in a different way.
- Who motivated you to write?
My late mother of blessed memory believed in my writing gift from a young age and that has been my constant motivation.
- What inspired you to write?
I was inspired to write by my need to have my work published because I felt like my work needed an audience of nations.
- Do you have fans? How do you react to fans?
Maybe not fans really but people who support my work. I see them as family.
- Bogus versus legitimate publishers, have you encountered such?
Not bogus but the legitimate ones had good packages, just the downside were the costs. For an entry level writer without funding, it’s not easy to take off.
- Merging the books with community service, are you involved in any community services?
I’m a Pastoral Assistant at my local church and a community leader that helps youth with free lessons for High School Mathematics and Science subjects.
- How did your faith help with marketing your craft?
I believed my work was good, so I was not scared to pitch it to anyone I met even on the street.
- How many copies did you sell so far? Or how many do you plan to sell in near future?
I have sold 50 copies & counting and there are some at the Bridge Bookstore in Johannesburg that are currently being sold. In the future I’m planning to strike deals with more bookstores to get my work out there more.
- What are your future plans?
I’m penning a second book which is a self-help and Volume two of the poetry collection also is on the way.
- Encouragement to upcoming writers, what can you say?
Don’t give up. If the mainstream won’t help you, get on the internet and market yourself.
- How can people get your book?
Through arrangements that is through me on my socials and copies are available at the Bridge Bookstore in Johannesburg.
- Do you plan to convert your book to an eBook too?
The eBook is available on Amazon Kindle
