By: Irfan Khan Tareen
The religion is the benefactor of a man, is an English maxim that displays the bare reality of life. A imagined and motivating force that appears to be the benefactor of every and each man is undeniably religion. This is a worthy source that brings peace as well as enlightenment to an individual’s mind. Truly, a man who manifests deeply connected with his religion will always emerge in a great pleasure mode of living. Contrary to this point of view, a man who keeps a fragile connection with religion will always come up in extreme anxiety and agony. Thus, religion is considered the benefactor of a man, and one assuredly needs to hold a deep relation with this part of life.
Undeniably, religion enlightens man’s worldly life by embellishing it with prosperity as well as mental peace. In fact, it helps in providing guidance in every aspect of life. Similarly, it enjoins its followers to spread love, unity, brotherhood and truth among yourselves with the purity of heart. For instance, we are created as Muslims and blessed with beautiful and loving religion, Islam and high gratefulness to Almighty-Allah for this worthy gift. Absolutely, it enjoins its its believers to abstain from each that act, that may sadden and vex an innocent one. It similarly dictates to keep unity, love, truth, honesty, brotherhood and respect among yourselves. We as Muslims are fortunately saved from exorbitant miseries of life due to its blessings.
Moreover, it is clearly said that ‘ a man without religion is like a horse without bridle. Yes, a horse can’t be controlled in the absence of latter. Likewise, a man will never have enough capability to get rid off boundless sins in the rupture of deep relation with religion, and this is a true fact.
However, people having great access to material wealth, will indeed not be capable to enjoy the hidden taste of life when there exists the dearth of religious values and principles in their life. Sadly, they will be the victim of hypertension, agony and anxiety which undeniably a man to undesirable vices like suicide. The lack of worship of God (Almighty-Allah) will steer the prosperity, enlightenment and peace of mind. That’s why saints and Suffis seem extremely happy as they always keep struggle and determination to earn the real pleasure of Allah through His frequent remembrance in every walk of life.
Therefore, it is assuredly a clear truth of philosophers that religion serves as the benefactor of a man. We can definitely gain mind’s cheerfulness and enlightenment by means of holding a strengthened connection with our religion (Islam). Particularly, people who see prosperity and beauty in riches are undoubtedly on wrong direction as real happiness of life lies in the worship of God, and in providing financial assistance to downtrodden section of society.
Let us play our own role by putting undying love in the hearts of our children as well as teenagers, regarding Islam and its basic principles as it is the fundamental and indispensable duty of Muslims.
