Court denies a bond to a deputy headteacher who allegedly defiled the minor

A middle aged man has been arraigned in Keroka Law Court for defiling a 10 years minor.

Jared Masese the accused deputy head teacher , is alleged to have defiled a minor on 4/10/2022 in one of the school in Borabu Sub County Nyamira County intentionally and unlawfully defiled the minor contrary to section 8(1) as read with sub section 8 of the sexual offence act no. 3 of 2006.

The accused person was also charged with the alternative charge for committing indecent act with a child contrary to section 11(1) of the sexual offence act no .3 of 2006.

The accused appeared before Senior resident magistrate Collins Otieno.

He pleaded not guilty before the Court.

The court denied accused person a bond and he is in Manga police custody.
