The rate at which the level of deaths are increasing in our country due to drought crisis is alarming. Most parts of our country are experiencing this due to low rains and people have no other sources of getting food. In Northern Eastern part of Kenya most people are agonizing since the drought is all over and no food.
Though many well-wishers have been trying their best to cater for the needs of these people, it’s becoming hard because they cannot do it all days. Kenyans are therefore urged to plant trees to increase the level of rains so as to favour the agricultural sectors.
Large percentage of our citizens owe no business opportunities to enable them cater for their basic needs and many depend on agricultural products. If this sector will be more supported cases of hunger and inadequate food supply will reduce.
The government should support farmers by providing affordable fertilizers and farm inputs so as to increase the rates of the products produced. Farmers should also be called for conferences to be enlightened more and be given funds to boost their projects.
In central parts of our country many have been selling milk but at poor prices. You find the expenses they use are more than the income they get.
Government should put into considerations of how they should sell their milk to them directly without blockers so as to enjoy good prices of their products. With this, they will always be having money to
Cater for their needs and the dependency ratio will decrease. Many cases of hunger and inadequate food supply will be catered for. Agricultural sectors should be much embraced.
