People are fond of exaggerating their areas of interests

• A direct translation from my mother language we say that when visiting the loved one the distance seems to be short no matter how far it may actually be. The reason is due to the fact that you are looking for something that you treasure.
• The person who you like even when others complain of him high are chances of you thinking that it is out of malice or jealousy that they are having such opinions bearing in mind how helpful that person is in your life. When talking about him you will usually focus on his positive attributes.

Tropical regions are known all over the world for their hot-wet climatic conditions throughout the year. Majority of those who live in the rest of the world envy to visit the tropical regions and enjoy the fair weather as opposed to the extreme climatic conditions in their home regions but you find that some people born in tropics willing to relocate to polar regions especially when their mother countries are not doing well economically compared to the country of interest in the polar zones.

They would find all reasons that favour their immigration and would eventually move once a chance arises. Upon getting there they would be willing to acclimatize and enjoy life thereafter.

When you caution youth from doing certain things to avoid endangering their lives especially when you are elder than them many see this as jealousy claiming that you have already spent your youthful life. It is until the day they will fail to benefit from their actions or encounter a huge challenge that they will recognise how important your advice was. They will also describe you as foresighted.

This explains why we still have crime and drug abuse despite dedicated campaign for a prolonged period.

Those who reside in urban centres and feel fulfilled by such a life even when there are better opportunities in the countryside they will always talk of how beneficial it is to live in urban despite challenges they could be facing.

When selecting a course after attaining the required grades a student will not be willing to take heed of advice from his friends who could fear that his course of choice would be challenging to study. To him it is dedication to the subject that will determine how successful he will be. He could go ahead and cite success stories of a person who have attained desired results in that subject or another that are an equally challenging subject.

Talking to a drunkard who prefers whiskeys he would not mind how bitter they taste rather will focus on how fast he will feel drunk; he will also be interested on its health benefits. All the cons you may tell him about that drink are likely to fall on deaf ears.
