It’s a high time that youth should now draw their attention on self-employment rather than waiting to be employed, many youths especially those who have undergone the education system and excelled despise blue collar jobs as they recommend to be employed since they have papers that can guarantee them a good job. There are so many self-employment jobs that youth can invest in for a living. Many organizations offer soft loans that can be useful to youths.
Youths should be open minded and think beyond by coming up with good business ideas that may impact positively in their lives rather than waiting to be employed which may take a couple of years since there are so many graduates in Kenya who are looking for jobs.
Youth who have invested in self-employed are much better than those who have been employed since when one is employed it is not a guarantee that he or she will be working in that organization or company forever crisis may occur that may lead to early retrenchment. Youth should therefore focus on self-employment.
