Azimio la Umoja One Kenya has asked President William Ruto to reduce the cost of living as he promised during the campaigns.
Speaking at Gusii Stadium People’s Baraza Kisii Edition, Azimio leader Raila Odinga said that it is high time for the current government to fulfill their promises.
Odinga said that they will put the government on toe to ensure that they reduce high cost of living.
He said that most of the people are struggling with the high cost of living from costly food, electricity to fuel.
His sentiments were echoed by Stephen Kalonzo and Martha Karua and asked the government to treat all the members of the public equally without favourism.

Odinga asked government not to victimize former Cs Fred Matiang’i.
Odinga said that Matiang’i was CS of interior and he does not deserve to be harassed like a criminal.
“Police officers should have notified him before they raided his home, he should not be treated like a criminal,”he said.
Odinga said that police officers who raided the house of Matiang’i did not issue him with warrant.
He cited that some individuals in the government who had graft cases in Court have been set free while the innocent ones are being victimized.
“We want to know why some individuals who were arrested and arraigned in court over theft and being released,” he said.
Karua said that they will stand with Matiangi and they will ensure that he will not be arrested.
She said that they won the election fairy and their votes were stolen.
She said that the constitution has given power to the members of the public who have powers to vote for the leaders of their choice.
Karua said that Matiangi should be respected and the law takes it course.
Kalonzo said that they are defending on the constitution of 2010 they fought for.
He said that they will stand with Matiang’i not to be victimized.
Nepotism
Odinga said that the appointment of government slots job has been allocated to two tribes while other tribes have not been considered.
According to Odinga, Kisii County has not been sloted to permanent secretary while other tribes have been given 21 slots.
Azimio People’s Baraza will hold another meeting at Kisumu tomorrow.
