Othaya constituency students from needy families have benefited from a Sh45 million Bursary fund.
The bursaries have already hit their respective learning institutions, bringing a sign of relief to thousands of parents.
Area Member of Parliament Wambugu Wainaina alias Mt Kenya said over 8,000 needy students have benefited from the Kitty during this financial year.
The students who benefited are in secondary, Colleges and universities institutions as follows.
The MP said he is committed to ensure that every student from the constituency receive quality education as it is the backbone for their future.
The beneficiaries thanked the MP for the timely disbursement saying that education is the only tool that can change this World.
The MP said the local NG-CDF will be increased to cater for more needy students.
