Abdurashidova Dilnoza
October; Cotton-white clouds are floating in the sky with a smile. Autumn is coming, the trees are shedding their leaves, and the courtyards and streets are covered with haze. From the outside, the berry yard, which has been neglected for three or four days, has been sick for a long time, and its faces the house of Sanobar aya, who always walks pale. Sanobar, who was separated from her husband and two children at the age of thirty-five, raised her two children without trusting in the earth and the sky, and she has not yet seen her happiness. Their son Tahirjon’s wedding was held with difficulty. But Malika, who has reached the age of easily marrying one family, turned twenty-five, and could not find a suitable place for her. And now Malika did not like her mother’s early awakening.
–My daughter, sweep the yard and the streets and put them in order. I have a headache and can’t do anything,–said Sanobar aya.
–Err, mum, you know that I work from morning to night, you won’t let me rest even on days off when I’m tired and want to take a break,’ she grumbled, and began to tidy up his place.
When Malika heard Tahirjon’s voice saying “Mum” from the other room, she turned to her mother as if she wanted to sleep a little more. After breakfast, Malika swept the yard and she entered to the garden. After planting a couple of flowers, she suddenly remembered that today is the wedding of her friend. She quickly washed her hands, ran to his room. Sanobar aya, who was sitting on the porch sorting the cotton from the old blankets, did not understand what had happened. She dressed up. Her mother told him to wear thicker clothes, but she didn’t listen to her mother and went to the wedding.
When she slammed the door, the vase on the shelf fell to the floor and broke. It was her daughter-in-law’s, so Sanobar aya was upset. After 2-3 hours, her boy and his wife came to the house. They realized what had happened when they saw small broken glass under their feet. Both of them said nothing but left angrily. Sanobar aya’s heart ached and she felt dizzy. After that she went to bed. She didn’t wake up this morning either. Neither her son nor her daughter grieved for him. Both of them were too late to grieve.
