Archbishop Anthony Muheria

Pope Francis has appointed Archbishop Antony Muheria to be the Apostolic administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Embu.
The Nyeri Archdiocese head will be in charge of the diocese whose vacancy arose following the erection of the new Wote Diocese and appointment of His Lordship Paul Kariuki Njiru as its 1st Bishop.
He will be in charge of Embu Diocese until the Holy Father appoints its next Bishop.
The news of His appointment was announced by Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya and South Sudan, His Excellency Hurbertus Marie van Megen during the official erection of Wote Diocese as the 26th Diocese in Kenya.
