Collaborative Poem by:

Norman Mwale [The PenPusher]
The keg does the round,
Like a pompous model,
The revellers
All want to have a glimpse of.
Sipping at the malt brew,
Drifts in jovial moods,
And deep camaraderie,
The keg hopping
From palm to palm.
Just like snuff its companion,
Squeezed between charred palms,
The pinch is to the future,
And the sneeze a wad of forgotten
Tales.
These merrymakers
With their kegful whelmed into
Social meditation,
As they sip the brew to the marrow
Of love reincarnation,
Realities of winter to the harbingered
Summer
Glow in their dazzled,
Half closed eyes
As reflection to the born child
Of this Kegful symposium
Of reminiscence
With life splited into segments
Of teeming hope!
As the keg rotates like a carrousel!
