Kenyans should not be hoodwinked by politician’s falsehood in streets

By: Mwaura Elishifa

With IEBC having cleared all aspirants vying for seats on the 9 of August poll. Candidates are now set to take any opportunity in the street to make pledges that will win a vote for them from the electorates. There will be much of noise from political rallies that will beckon people in town to come near to listen and get something to put in the pocket popularly known as “Za macho”.

The electorates will have no time to listen and go through the manifestos of candidates but they will be eying what a candidate will be giving at the end of the day. Simply they will go for those candidates who will give them sweat falsehood and money.

The two months for campaign will change the decision of many electorates, simply because of many falsehoods they will buying from the politicians. It will be months where politicians will invest in any given social gathering in order to sell them for the 9th of August elections.

With politicians drawing what they will be selling in these two months, Kenyans should also take the opportunity to listen to the agendas and evaluate who among the candidates will bring solution to the economic crisis they are experiencing now.
