The Kenya Pipeline Foundation has donated KSh3 Million to Pastor Dorcas Rigathi’s Dorcas Rigathi Foundation Programmes.

The donation was made at the Official Residence of the Deputy President in Karen yesterday.

“To dignify a man is to dignify a community. I hope that one day people will be speaking about the boy child with some honor. “She said.

“Your donation will give a voice to a boychild, it will give a face to a boychild. The Kes 3m will go to rehabilitating more than 10 boys out there,“ she said.

We must get our children out of mental health.

Pastor Dorcas Rigathi said The Dorcas Rigathi foundation is meant to empower and realign these men in their dream as she shared the vision of her office and that of the foundation with the team.

“If you can help just one, that is enough. We must come together and collaborate and bring them (Boys) from out there and dignify their lives,” she said.

Pastor Dorcas is working on establishing health villages that include a rehabilitation Centre, a sports academy, a Health Centre, a TVET among others in different parts of the country. One such Health Village is under construction in Rumuruti area of Laikipia County.

The chairperson Board of Directors at Kenya Pipeline Corporation Faith Boinnet pledged that KPLC will put the efforts in dignifying the lives of the boy-child.

“We want to be counted towards this course. This is a partnership where we will walk together.

We will physically avail ourselves as KPC,” she said,

“A generation in this country has been lost to drugs and alcoholism, but we are glad that it is being handled at such an office (Office of the Spouse of the Deputy President),”  she added.

KPC MD Joe Sang lauded the efforts done by Pastor Dorcas in dignifying the lives of the boy-child terming it the right way to secure the country’s future.

“When the man is supported, the future is guaranteed. It is a noble course that Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has been running her office on 4 pillars that target the vulnerable populations.

The four include the boychild where she is running a campaign on de-addiction from alcoholism, drugs and substance abuse, widows and orphans where she is running feeding programs in various parts of the country, Persons Living with Disabilities and Family Values and Chaplaincy.

KPC on the other hand has been running programs to support the vulnerable populations in the society. Among them is a program dubbed Inuka that supports 2 disabled children in every county and pays their secondary school fees. 694 students have been supported so far.

KPC MD Joe Sang said the organization is planning on employing some in the organization.
