Nowadays, the amount of information is increasing day by day. The environment of modern information technologies is expanding more and more. We cannot imagine our life without continuously developing technologies. It is the duty of every pedagogue to be able to use these modern technologies wisely in the educational process. Teaching using modern technologies not only increases the effectiveness of education. Maybe it will increase the students’ interest in this subject.
Mathematics is the king of sciences. Mathematics is one of the subjects that is needed in every aspect of our life. There are many classic and modern programs for use in mathematics classes. One of these is GeoGebra.
GeoGebra is a free, cross-platform, dynamic math program that covers all levels of learning, including geometry, algebra, tables, graphs, statistics, and arithmetic. The program provides the ability to work with functions using the commands of the built-in language (also allows you to control geometric constructions). This program was developed by Markus Hohenwarten and works on a large number of operating systems.
Boredom is often observed in mathematics lessons. This is due to the teacher’s modeling of the lesson. GeoGebra has great and interesting problems that can be used in the lesson for students and teachers. In the resources section of the GeoGebra program For grades 4-8, there are 113 resources for algebra, 92 resources for geometry, 94 resources for measurement, 127 resources for number sense, 53 resources for operations and 53 resources for probability and statistics.
One of the advantages of the GeoGebra program is that the program can be used online and offline on a computer and phone. Students can further strengthen their little knowledge using the program even at home.
