The political temperatures keep rising to greater Fahrenheit as we approach the August 9th polls. The embers keep glowing and nobody is in a position to foreshadow the results of the forthcoming elections.
Remember , the youths play a greater if not major role in the elections .We are the determinants of a better or much worse economy through the people we elect for various electoral positions .Let us not vote in the line of “Mtu wetu” ideology or for the sake of mere handouts and peanuts.
Let’s vote for integrity and development .Let sober up and trigger change. As we go to the files to chant campaign slogans, let’s refrain from violent acts and remain vigilant. The election session will come and go, but our daily lives will stay, let’s be human and practice tranquility during this period.
Dear Kenyan youth, let no politician influence you to fight and shade blood for differing ideologies. It’s satirical that we shade blood at grassroot level for politicians who will later dine in the same table and shake hands.
Let’s think about it and make sober decisions .We are the key determinants of this country’s stability and economy. Lastly, I’ll conclude by asking the Kenyan youth, for how long will we water the trees of freedom and liberation with blood?
