Indeed, Ramadan is a blessed month. Mohi Muazzam is the month that we all dream and wait for. Ramadan is the month of kindness and generosity. Goodness, kindness, consequence and generosity, giving a helping hand to others, supporting the fallen are an integral part of our virtues.
In this virtuous month, in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed, people are ordered to fast, not only to eat and drink, but also to refrain from inappropriate words, backbiting, backbiting, avarice, teasing others, greed and many other vices.
Allah Almighty commanded his servants to refrain from eating and drinking and from other pleasures during the days of Ramadan. This month is such a month that the first ten days are thanksgiving, the second ten days are forgiveness, and the third ten days are salvation from hell. Fasting is one of the great acts of worship commanded by Allah. There are many wisdoms and virtues that many people do not know about performing this deed. “The month of Ramadan is the month of blessings. Allah forgives sins and accepts prayers in this month. Get your respects right this month! Only the one who goes to Hell will be deprived of mercy in this month”. (Tabarani’s narration).
“Ramadan is a blessed month. Allah Almighty has made Ramadan fasting obligatory for you. In this month, the gates of mercy will be opened, the gates of Hell will be closed, and the devils will be chained. There is one night in this month that is more valuable than a thousand months. A person who is deprived of the good of this night (the Night of Qadr) is considered to be deprived of all the good. (Nasai’s narration)
Therefore, let’s make the most of this blessed month and seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. May Allah bless all of us with the month of Ramadan, the month of forgiveness, mercy and blessings?
