The Government and indeed other stakeholders have been thumbed up for their tireless efforts to keep girls in school. This is according to the Chairlady FAWE Vihiga Chapter Dr. Margaret Ndanyi.
“I take this opportunity to thank the government for its commitment to end early marriages and take girls to school. This should be the way to progress,” she said.
Dr. Ndanyi also thanked the Vihiga woman representative Beatrice Adagala for her tireless efforts to end Teenage pregnancies in the county through establishment of a rescue center where girls can access education
She spoke in the sidelines of Forum for African Women Educationalists FAWE in Radisson blu Upperhill.
The forum saw the launch of Imarisha Msichana under the mantra “her education her future”
