The night spent without you staring at the twinkling stars reminds me of the distance between me and you which is so vast
Memories of the past surround my brain
Tell me to dance while I’m alone in the rain
Alone? Lonely to be true
and how I wonder the time really flew
The look you had while you looked at me
Eyes tell the truth but I couldn’t see
Manifested a future without being aware
That you would leave and turn into a stranger
The butterflies I felt when I thought of you
The crimson colours always gave a clue
Such was your effect and you never realised
Vanished in the air but the effect never minimised
It was never a lie nor a dream
Memory of a time my heart screamed
Always wondered where you fly
Signing off now I bid my goodbye.
