Thousands Of The Attendants Also Observed A Moment Of Silence For The 21 Pupils Who Died In A Fire Tragedy At Hillside Academy In Nyeri County

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his Spouse, Pastor Dorcas yesterday joined thousands of Christian faithful at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre for worship service dubbed ‘Grace Encounter Worship Service’ concert.
The event organized by Grace Arena Ministries Church was attended by top members of the clergy, both locally and internationally, led by Apostle Dr David Owusu from Ghana and Gospel Artist Moses Bliss from Nigeria.
The attendants also observed a moment of silence for the 21 children killed in a night inferno at Endarasha Hillside Academy, Nyeri County.
In his remarks, the Deputy President called on Kenyans to put the country and President William Ruto in prayers to overcome the challenges facing the nation.
“I want to ask the people of Kenya to continue praying for our President and to pray for our country so that we surmount the challenges facing the country so that there is love and peace amongst the people of Kenya but above all to pray to God to heal our land. God bless you all,” he said.
He, additionally, lauded Apostle Dr Owusu for his bible teachings and organizing the event.
“I have enjoyed the sermon of Apostle David Owusu. I have taken out two key points from the sermon. One that I must start walking with the wise. It’s a good message. Secondly, the good Apostle has asked us to pray everyday. I will be praying to the Lord everyday to connect me with the right people to help me deliver my destiny,” he said.
“I am pleased and privileged to meet people who are a happy lot. I have admired and enjoyed the worship and the music.”
Othera present were Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, her husband Sam Mburu, Nominated MP Sabina Chege James Gakuya of Embakasi North, Benjamin Gathiru Mejja Donk of Embakasi Central as well as former Laikipia Woman Rep. Cate Waruguru.
