Christ Jesus says in John 14:21, 23, 24 :
“[21] Whoever has *MY commands and keeps them* is the one who loves ME. The one who loves ME will be loved by MY FATHER , and I too will love them and show Myself to them.”
[23] Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves Me will obey my teaching. My FATHER will love them, and *WE WILL COME* to them and make *OUR HOME* with them. [24] Anyone who does not love ME will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not MY own; they belong to the FATHER WHO sent ME.” Selah! “Tusaidie Mungu Mwenye enzi, Mwenye nguvu zote🙏🏿”
To me, this Scripture is an inspiration through out life, that when you Love God; Christ Jesus, you OBEY HIM. And because of that, you are going to be loved by the Father, and Jesus too, and He will show Himself to you. Thus, REVELATION comes through relationship that is BASED ON LOVE. This means that when you walk in Love, you won’t struggle to get revelation in your life. Once you love the Lord, and your love is not based on things, and God is a searcher of hearts, and He can know that this person is my servant, yes, I have called him, but what is his need of me? Does he want an ANOINTING, to use Me, to live a good life, to be rich; or is he TRULY SEEKING ME, loves Me, and desires to have a deep relationship with Me?
That is why the Scripture says in Jeremiah 17: 9, 10“ The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?, I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”
I know the benevolence of God is based on His Love, His good will; favour is based on His Love. For it is written, “ For God so Loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,…” Every time you are IN LOVE WITH GOD,you are going to experience His benevolence in your life. If you have genuine love, “ You can give without loving, but you can NOT LOVE without giving.” It becomes automatic. We witness a high level of relationship between Abraham and God, that when God wanted to destroy sodom, He felt obliged to consult Abraham! Wow, may we desire and experience such.
Our Love for God MUST be stronger than the desire for anything else. Note, relationships are maintained with a price. You have a price tag for every relationships, for example, there are people who have a need, you stop everything and avail yourself, while others it is not the same level. So, even, our relationship with God has a price tag. The Apostles died painful death, they could not deny Him, in life or in death. When the relationship is strong, it has a VERY HIGH PRICE; that you have to pay for that relationship. Temptations will surely come all through out life, but the decisions you make is based on the price of that relationship. Some of the price of our relationship is time, you avail time because you value that relationship, as they must be maintained. If you do not have time for God, it means the relationship is not that strong. There is also the price of resources; sometimes the way we give to God, it is determined by the relationship you’ve with God, so that when you give, you are giving to your friend, the one you love; such we see in Abraham who was willing to give his son, because he love God.
“Oh, God help us, we know we are human and weak, and sometimes we are corrupted, help us to Love You with a genuine deep love for You, in the Mighty Name of Christ Jesus: AMEN.”
