In a show of support for sports and community development, the Patron of Kenya Police FC and Principal Secretary for the State Department of Internal Security and National Administration, Dr. Raymond Omollo, alongside the Inspector General of the National Police Mr. Douglas Kanja, joined forces to host an exclusive Gala Dinner. The event took place in an hotel in Nairobi, to celebrate the club’s achievements, highlighting the importance of sports in community growth.
As the Patron, PS Omollo expressed his pride in the team’s performance and reiterated the crucial role sports play in not only promoting healthy living but also in driving community cohesion. He commended the players and coaching staff for their dedication, which has seen the team rise to the top of the Kenya Premier League standings.
“I’m honoured to preside over the Kenya Police FC Gala Dinner, and in my capacity as Patron, I reaffirm my commitment to nurturing talent, strengthening sports development and ensuring the team continues to shine on both local and international platforms.” He remarked.

The evening brought together an array of influential figures, including Deputy Inspector General Gilbert Masengeli, players, coaches, officials, and various stakeholders, all gathered in unison to celebrate Kenya Police FC’s remarkable journey and commitment to excellence in Kenyan football, with anticipation for greater success ahead.
It also served as an opportunity to reinforce the club’s vision of continued growth, development, and success in Kenyan football. Kenya Police FC is well-positioned to continue making strides both on and off the pitch.
As of now, the police club is leading the league with 41 points from the 21 matches played in the current season. Their performance has been a testament to the hard work and resilience of everyone involved with the club, from the management to the players, all working toward a shared goal of success.
The event not only celebrated the club’s current achievements but also its ongoing commitment to advancing sports and community development in Kenya.
