President William Ruto’s mountain region tour entered its second day yesterday with residents of Meru and Kirinyaga counties getting development goodies worth billions of shillings.
The President who visited Meru County before heading to Kirinyaga disclosed that his administration had set aside billions of shillings for Infrastructure, Agricultural and Social programmes in the two counties.
Accompanied by several leaders, led by Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki, the Head of State launched and commissioned several projects in the area as he promised more in the coming months.
Thousands of local residents lined up to welcome and listen to him in the numerous stops that he made.
