The world laughs, its voice so harshly loud
When a woman sobs and weeps, lost in the crowd. It sneers , crushes and tramples all her grace, When she dares to establish her space.
The world shuns her down,
Yet she wears resilience like a golden crown! And when it seeks a guiding light,
She leads the lost minds with her steady steps and might. Her worries , anguishes and cries deep in love reside,
In her cozy heart, they softly hide
But the ruthless, reckless hands, unkind and harsh,
Would tear her innocent soul—make her their toy and tool. Still, she—the woman, beautiful, bold and bright—
Is mocked, scorned , kept out of sight!
In offices where men hold firm command, She stands, though they won’t lend a hand. They scorn her strength, her knowledge vast,
Her cries totally ignored, her woes amassed. She seeks the reason for disdain,
All she gets—a smirked refrain!
She is stubborn, she rises, yet again,
Through darkness, defame and endless strain.
Why must the world deny her due?
Why must she bleed to prove what’s true?
WHY! WHY! WHY!
Why so much turmoil? Why must she fight To prove her worth, to claim her right? Always doubted, shoved and brushed aside,
But among it all, she stands high with great pride.
Let’s end this torturous , ruthless game, No more silence, no more shame.
Let’s wake up, let’s scream , let’s make it known, Her stamina , her fire, her passion must be known. No longer as a slave, nor seen as a foe,
Let ‘s pamper and respect her, nurture her grow. A friend, a mentor, a loving heart so true,
She deserves —her rightful due!
Let’s treat her as OUR LOVING friend
And neither as a SLAVE nor as a FOE!
