Where is pride and honor now?
Where is modesty and dignity?
Decency and are forgotten,
The feeling called humanity is no more.
I haven’t lived long, yet I’ve seen much —
Pride and modesty being sold.
What has happened to this era?
What has become of humankind?
All is a lie, everything, all of it —
The smiling face, the hand reaching out.
Don’t trust this world, don’t trust this time,
You’ll see the lies — when a dagger stabs you from behind.
