The 14-day government’s programme for Integrated Measles-Rubella and Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine Campaign ended yesterday.
While launching the programme at Githogoro grounds in Westlands, Nairobi, Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale termed the move as a life-saving initiative that reinforces the national commitment to protect the health of the children and communities.
The nationwide campaign, run from July 1st to 14th was targeting children aged 9 months to 59 months for the Measles-Rubella vaccine; and Children aged 9 months to 14 years for the Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine.
