United Opposition leaders, Rigathi Gachagua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa and Justin Muturi on Friday made an impromptu meet the people tour in Kajiado County’s Bissil area.
They condemned continued forceful take over of some lands belonging to the Maasai community by a select individuals.
“Ancestral land holds profound significance for the Maa community; it is more than just property; it is the heart of their identity, livelihood, cultural traditions, and spiritual beliefs. It is simply an indomitable parental blessing!,” Gachagua, the DCP Party leader said.
They noted that the seizure of Maa land by those in power is a grave insult to the community and must be unequivocally condemned and exposed.
They told those with an insatiable appetite for land to be ashamed of their actions and disregard for rightful ownership of land.
They reiterated their unwavering commitment to building a better, more equitable country, which they said remains unstoppable.
