The weak ones are easily caught by law

By: N. George

Worth Noting:

  • You will note that in well off families they hire people to work for them so most of their chores are neither allocated the man or woman of the house. On the contrary families experiencing financial strains most of the house chores like cooking, washing and babysitting are performed by one member of the family usually the woman while the man is responsible for security and searching for finances to be used by the family.
  • Trying to implement equity in both of the families mentioned above you will realise that the rich will not have much duties to share among the spouses as the hired staff are taking care of these while in the relatively less financial endowed family the husband is allocated more responsibilities which he is unlikely to accept resulting to deterioration of their relationship. The whole process of seeking social justice ruins the financially weaker party.

Laws are like spider’s webs: If some poor weak creature comes up against them, it is caught; but a big one can break through and get away.……… Solon

In democracies the leader with majority followership wins the elective posts by obtaining the largest number of votes. The values of that most famous leader does not matter when it comes to elections consequently at the time of legislation such leaders can draft and pass a bill that will favour their interests regardless to the effects on the rest of the population.

In this case the weak party is the minority party in the debate regardless to how good the quality of their argument is reason being they lack adequate numbers when it comes to voting for the bill.

In a court you will realise that the rich man will hire some of the best legal minds in the land boosting his chances of winning the case as they will put their best foot forward to ensure that they persuade the judge to give the fairest judgment possible to their client.

On the other hand if you are not well positioned financially many are chances that you will present yourself or look for a probono advocate to represent you who may not necessarily provide the best representation that you require thereby weakening your case.

The debate of equity has been there for quiet sometime where all persons feel the need to be given fair opportunities to access of resources. In case of a family set up some spouses feel that they need to share the duties equally with an aim of achieving social justice.

In any land the supreme law written by men is their constitution. In case there is a certain law the mighty and powerful persons do not want they can sponsor some legislators to bring a bill on the floor of parliament to amend it or repeal it thereafter it’s signed into law. Alternatively they can sponsor for the whole of the constitution which does not seem to favour them to be replaced with another one which is friendly to their interests.

In case of a non-influential person failing to like a certain statute, his inability to sponsor a legislator to table a bill on the floor of the parliament  to amend the statute or replace the whole constitution leaves him with limited choices of either obeying the constitution or immigrating to a territory that has rules which are favourable to him. Otherwise in case he violates the constitution then he is easily caught, judged and punished accordingly.

At the road while driving you can easily notice that those steering lorries and other large vehicles do not fear the drivers of media size and small vehicles more so if they both have 50-50 chances of using a certain path they would not mind taking the first opportunity to use it as they are aware that incase of any collision it would be the driver of the relatively smaller vehicle who would suffer most.

People of huge stature are usually feared as you know that if there is any physical challenge against them and you are not equally heavy built like them you will suffer most. On the other hand the weak and small sized persons are a likely to be on the receiving end if the challenge at hand is physical and the rest of the participants are more masculine than them.
