On 14th of February each and every year we usually have Valentine’s Day. It is on this day where people bought gifts to their loved ones are it parents, friends or marriage partners as a way of showing them how important they are.
Some bought gifts such as flowers, beautiful clothes among others. Those who receive these gifts are overwhelmed with joy and feel loved. On the other hand the people who are less fortunate in the society; the poor, the orphans, widows and people living with disabilities are left with no one to neither care nor remember them during this particular day.
As a result they feel unloved and they may undergo emotional stress and depression. As we dig deeper into our pockets on this Valentine’s Day purchasing gifts to our loved ones we should remember this invulnerable group.
For once let them feel cared, loved and know that we are concerned with challenges they are going through. We may not have much but the little we have let’s think of buying something meaningful to present to these people. We should care for one another.
