Dear African young Woman
Daughter! Will that not make you happy to see your dreams, passions and Aspirations becoming a reality? Being that proud first, second, third or last born daughter .I know that it is a future dream of every girl child to wed that fine man, have that beautiful life, become a vibrant and successful Business woman but first things first.
Value your womanhood and prepare your life at this young age. As others rush into a sophisticated topic of marriage, guard your future and be educated, develop yourself and follow your dreams like your life depend on it because it does.
As others of your age follow what is trending seek to be the one trending never be controlled by a modern toxic motto that “It’s normal and everyone is doing it”. The Question of concern must be, “where am l trending in this, am l everyone”? Have your own standards in line with your blueprint. Live within your means as you work towards a better picture you intend to see and operate in your brighter future. Say no to instant gratifications and go through the process.
No man wants to marry a non-productive woman. Though they speak of building mansions for you, take you places and make you a queen to their kingdom, shine your eyes my dear, it is a trap.
They call you an angel yet their agenda is to use you. Say to them “Angels live in heaven therefore create a heaven on earth first and we will move from there”. Remember you have just begun to blossom and every man young and old are all after your flowers and a delicate fruit you possess.
If you do not watch and guard your fruits you will soon be a compilation of twigs and dry leaves. A noble man respects your decisions, body and value. Never open your legs for anyone to prove a point. A true man care about your dreams, education, development and identity, most of them are hunting beast to destroy and devalue.
Discern well as you do courtship and dating ,listen to his words and assess his actions, where he meet with you and what he spend your time doing to you. Is he adding value to you or degrading your worth to later leave you in regret?
My girl be wise, l raised you better. Yes! Feelings exist but remember they come and go to either leave you regretting or happy. Consider your future in every decision you make my dear and you will never regret. Let the lord and a set of noble principles guide you to be both wife material, Successful and a Proverbs 31:10 Woman.
Child, never love sleep, to be a woman is to work, help, multiply and plan. Remember, l your mother wake early every day to prepare for your father, you and your siblings before l leave for work. Also nurture those values in you and you shall also be a great woman of integrity someday. Never sit on your hands but rather utilize them for good.
“Rushing will never get you to a destination and speed without direction leads astray, take the stairs not an elevator, go through the process”.
Let me serve you wisdom for the journey ahead my girl. Your value can be compared to two books depending on your choice. There is a library book, touched and used by all, read by all everywhere. In the rest room, in a beer hall and at strange places, the book, spend its days everywhere regardless of intention in the mind of the beholder.
Then we have a Book Shop book observed by many at a distance, never touched by everyone or be everywhere by all, but only found within the enclosed sanctuary of protected shelves of patience, process and worth. Waiting for the hand of the beholder that pays a valuable Price to be one and live with. So are you today my girl!
You are like one of these books. Are you going to expose yourself to everyone who has intentions to devalue you? Using a trap of child`s play love without a real marriage intention offering you the so called LUV DAT CHICKEN, DEBONNAIRES PIZZA or expensive food and clothes you have never had, but would in the future.
My girl “patience pays”. Open your eyes, future great woman. There is more value within you. Girl! Choose to be like a Book shop book where a man has to pay with value to be the king of your heart and surely you will be a role model to your future daughters and generations to come. Remember! Gender has nothing to do with what you aspire to become. Put in the work and that dream will be a foregone conclusion, you can do it!
Daughter Get a life before you become a wife, never allow a Social media rush to make you compromise your principles pleasing men that will later dessert you on your death bed, when you are devoured by infirmities of the blood. Here is wisdom for the taking, the mandate of so-called blessers is never to make you a wife as they utter but to make you a painkiller under a 3C spell! Well in case you forgot, in case you don`t know that means CARS, CASH and CLOTHES. Your value far exceeds chicken thighs and fries, behind the façade of that sexy smile as the dotcom generation say, there is a hunting beast waiting. Child Shine your eyes, a 1000watts just like a bulb`s brightness, deny to be a part of the so-called blesser`s syllabus for you aren`t a module of experiments but rather a woman of valor.
Here is to those who have hit rock-bottom, made countless wrong turns before, it’s never too late to do the right thing, going about paying back with STIs to the universe simply because some irresponsible man victimized you is not the way to go. Before you revenge by preying on a man who didn`t cut you. Think of the wounds to this generation, not forgetting seeds to come after you, it`s not over, for you are not damaged goods as you think.
Maybe you are pregnant already, depressed, denied, betrayed and you are thinking of killing the baby and self. Child l say Don`t! it`s never too late to do the right thing. Remember it if often decisions that are made on temporary feelings that results in destruction not only to self but generations. You are stronger than you think and there is much you can do.
To conquer the island we burn boats but in the journey, things do get tough, we lose our way countless times but what`s worth is courage to get back up and realign ourselves for that goal. The Courage to get back up is all it takes to re-write a legacy regardless of poor models we might have been exposed to in the process, Just remember being born within a poor background or society with a poor belief system is never a qualification or rather endorsement to the same fate. You carry ability to re-wire a legacy of your liking.
There Is an African Proverb that Says “When There Is No Enemy Within enemies outside can do us no harm” The Question is, Do You Have the Courage to take it upon yourself and re-write a Legacy of your liking. I believe in you, as others of your age rest within the comfort zone of spectators and gossipers, be a participator and the difference will Soon Show.
