Wings
By Aashiq S – Kerala, India
I’ve locked them up.
I’ve locked them not by force,
But by simply letting go of the reigns
Thus neglected, it must have waited at the doorway for long.
Sometimes I invite it over and still ignore the signs.
I’ve locked up that which sprawled and spiraled at the slightest trigger in unfathomable models.
Considering unconventional sparks(which never even were considered as…)
and even peaked behind the lightest trace of shadows and its light source, no curtains left unrolled.
That remains locked up.
But I’ll fly soon, as the shackles are fragile.
