- She said that due to fake photos, disputes are heard between people of different communities because they do not have the right information about the facts and they fight among themselves.
- Non-teaching staffs was also present in this workshop and they also updated themselves through this workshop.
A One-day training on Media Literacy, Critical Thinking, Understand Biases and Photo Verification was organised today at AL Fatima Educational Society B.Ed. College, a part of AL Fatima Educational Society.
The workshop was led by Minati Chaklanavis Communication, Soft Skills and Personality Development Trainer and Fact Checker associated with Google News Initiative & FactShala, in which the faculty members of AL Fatima Educational Society B.Ed. College and Principal of Fatima Degree College were also present. During this, Minati Chaklanavis explained media literacy to the faculty members in detail and explained critical thinking and photo verification. She said that the trend of fake photos has increased in the present era, especially during and post COVID 19 phases.

It is very important to take note of such educational gatherings in 2022 because everyone is deeming themselves as journalists by opening Facebook or social media blogs and boosting them, with much followers one word from an untrained personnel can hold substance and be shared without verification, hence these workshops add immediate knowledge to the people and set legitimacy in the Media industry.
However we cannot stop the growth of internet use or content creators but there are measures to be observed on photography and verification of news and information which is very important to news desk and reporters to avoid suing or collapses of agency in this unstable communities.
The event went well and as one can see the focus the attendees had while various points were shared across the room.
