Mabotha said his family and friends had been supportive even thou they did not understand why he wanted to invest in the writing industry from the onset. Looking at how everything went he can proudly say his mother is the center of his talent.- Rejection is one of the challenges that almost destroyed Mabotha’s confident in his craft. He explained how people would bad mouth him for choosing this path of writing.
- As much as this gave him reasons to give up, he remembered how many souls he had saved through his writings and he also hold on as a he finally recalled why he started.
Seema Mabotha (22) is a self published author who was born and bred at Botlokwa in a small village called Mangata, Limpopo. He is currently residing in Westeburg. Mabotha is a student at Rostec Technical FET college studying marketing course. He describes himself as a influential dynamic young man.
Looking back at his journey he recalls that he got aware of his talent of writing in 2011 when he was doing his 5th grade. As a result of the hardships his friends went through, Mabotha found it hard to lend a helping hand as his friends preferred not to talk about it. This meant he had enough time to go home early to jot down everything he assumed was happening in their lives. He wrote a motivational peace for them so that they can read and be healed inside.
“That is how I realized my talent of writing; it felt very good because for once I used something I am good at to heal people without uttering a single word to them.” He said.

As a self published author Mabotha describes his achievements as those that aligns with building and empowering the young and old. As well as to change his life for better.
“One of my biggest achievements is that I managed to turn around my life from bad to good.” He said.
Mabotha is also pleased with how he managed to change other people’s lives and make a huge impact to the youth. Mabotha is the author of, I find peace in my writing. The book consist of part 1 and part 2 but part 2 sales are on hold as the book had some errors that needed to be fixed.
“Our focus is on part 2, the book is about poetry that focuses mainly on the challenges faced by our youth and of course our elders also. The book is a motivational poetic book.” He said.
“To aspiring authors it’s never too late to do what you love, you might look at your friends and see that maybe they are behind or forward in life and you feel left out or proud. Everything happens at it’s own time and never be scared of doing what you love because you afraid of criticism, remember this it’s better to die of passion than of boredom. ” He concluded.
