“Incomplete stories are unpalatable. It’s unfortunate that despite my insistence and negotiation to fly the Jubilee Party and Azimio flag in the Bungoma senatorial by election, The Party position reached is not to antagonize the coalition and Support the coalition endorsed candidate to increase and maximize our chance at winning the seat.
As a National Executive Committee Member of the Party, I am bound by this decision though my percentage of agreement with it is weak. I still believe freshness, uniqueness and Youthfulness would be a better currency for us to sell and this would persuade Bungoma more than a narrative that retains the status quo.
I am dissapointed and I know many who believed in this vision are equally disappointed but before i wrote this one of my elders called and told me, ‘ Son, in politics not everything will always go your way even when you are sure that you are right. ‘

I accept and wish our coalition candidate all the best. This dream is not killed, it shall come to be some day and its till then that this story will be sensible and palatable.”
