Nairobi City County gubernatorial candidate Ms Agnes Kagure yesterday held a consultative meeting with the leadership of a lobby group for Independent candidates.

Onchari Oyieyo met with the chairman the Free Kenya Movement, an umbrella body of the independent candidates in this year’s election.
The leadership was led by its chairman, Bob Njagi, Sec Gen Nicholas Oyoo, Treasurer Mulialia Okumu, and Victor Mainga who is also contesting for a Member of County Assembly (MCA’s) seat.
During the familiarisation and consultative meeting, the group emphasized the urgent need for a concerted sensitization to liberate voters from the shackles of party dictatorship and vote for leaders on their own merit.
