You can never back away from the devil. The best thing is to learn to be patient in the Spirit. Jesus’ name is stronger than all devils. But when you run into someone who literally has been worshipping them, they do not come out so easily. You cannot make all of them leave real quickly. Some are strong, and you do not know how to do everything. But the Spirit of God knows how. And no matter how much experience you have, you will still run into cases that you do not know how to pray for. So use the Word of God and pray in the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit knows exactly what to do in every case. The Spirit of God knows how to get freedom for everyone. He confirms the Word with signs following. “ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit HIMSELF maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And HE(GOD) that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because HE maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of GOD ( Romans 8:26,27).
There was that demon-possessed woman, the will of God was freedom. The devil wants humans to worship him. However, THE WILL OF GOD IS FOR EVERYONE TO BE FREE FROM DEMONS AND TO BE ABLE TO WORSHIP HIM. Getting that woman free took four hours of praying in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit knew exactly what to do. I did my part. I spoke to the demons and told them to get out of her. The Spirit knows the rest. He will get the demons out and bring deliverance. The will of God is freedom for everyone.
OH LORD, GIVE US UNDERSTANDING THAT WE MAY LIVE IN FREEDOM. HALELUJAH.
