Bobasi Legislature Innocent Obiri has ditched Ford Kenya and joined Wiper Party on the grounds that the party boss Moses Wetangula joined Kenya Kwanza.
Mr Obiri prior to his defection he was Ford Kenya Deputy party leader.
Speaking at Kisii County when One Kenya Alliance Principal Kalonzo Musyoka met supporters at mosocho, Obiri said that the party boss did not consult the team before joining the party.
“The move of joining Kenya Kwanza was not widely consulted , and that decision was not good at all,”he said.
Mr Obiri attributed that he made his decision and found that Wiper is the party that cannot let him down.
He cited that he is no longer Ford Kenya deputy party leader and promised that together with the team they will ensure come August 2022 they have secured more elective posts
According to Obiri, he is now working under the directives of Kalonzo who will guide on the footprints they will follow.

According to the Wiper party leader,President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga should be prepared to engage with alliance in serious dialogue over the envisaged coalition agreement.
Borabu Mp Ben Momanyi who is also eying for Nyamira gubernatorial seat assured the public that One Kenya Alliance is the winning team.
Mr Momanyi urged the voters to vote wisely and elect leaders with a vision.
“Fruits of development can only be felt by , when public elect visionary leaders,”he said.
He challenged the public to elect leaders who not only understand their needs and aspirations but are able to rally them in uplifting their socio economic standards.
Wiper deputy party leader Victor Swanya said that said the party had given Kalonzo authority to engage with other parties ahead of the general elections.
