Real Estate Players Have Been Awarded Based On Their Performance In Various Categories Through A Poll Survey By Top Brands Africa.

The majority of the real estate players are in the Mt Kenya region and some operating in the coastal region.

In the e-voting conducted between May 8, and May 18,  in the category of selling quality and affordable land, Comfort Homes garnered 36 percent, followed by   Top Care  Investment at 17 percent, West Hill Shelters at 11 percent, and Username and Maono Lands got nine and four percent respectively.

In the survey in the category of accessible and convenient, interacting with customers in more than 10 counties and in diaspora,  Comfort Homes 29 percent, Optiven  23 percent, and Username 17 percent.

And in the category of land-selling companies and disbursing loans to members,  Comfort Homes scooped the first position with 31 percent, Dhahabu Lands in the runners-up at 23 percent, Optiven at 13 percent, AMG Realtors eight percent, and Metro Villas at seven percent.

Reached for comments, Comfort Homes CEO Dr Hezekiah Kariuki appreciated the survey in the real estate sector by a professional body, as they have been in the best positions in three years.

Kariuki thanked customers for having trust in the firm saying in the past 16 years he has managed to issue more than 10,000 title deeds.

He adds that in the Cooperate Social Responsibility CSR Comfort Homes has offered a scholarship to 797 students in various schools across the country to pursue their secondary school education.

“Three years in a row Comfort Homes have emerged as the best Land selling company in Kenya and more so in the most quality and affordable land-selling company in Kenya category,’ said Kariuki.

Lucy Muthoni says there is a need for the government to ensure only licensed real estate firms are allowed to transact businesses.

Muthoni recounts how hundreds of Kenyans are suffering after they lost millions of shillings to land dealers under the pretext to sell the land.

“It is a pity that the government has failed to act yet the ‘brokers’ are controlling land registries in Nairobi, Murang’a, Nanyuki, and Thika,” said Munthoni
