DaVinci Gourmet Barista Craft Championship 2024 celebrating vibrant and diverse coffee culture
DaVinci Gourmet has officially launched its highly anticipated Annual Barista Craft Championship 2024, a prestigious event that brings together the world’s top baristas to showcase their exceptional skills and creativity. The competition, which commenced on August 1st, will run until August 18th, featuring a series of intense rounds designed to test the participants’ mastery of coffee artistry.
This year’s championship promises to be more thrilling than ever, with baristas from around the globe competing in various categories, including espresso preparation, latte art, and signature drink creation. The event will be held at multiple locations, providing a platform for baristas to demonstrate their innovative coffee brewing and presentation approaches.
With the chance to win up to USD6,000 in cash and prizes, including a sponsored coffee experience trip: Competitors from over 20 countries will be challenged to push the boundaries of flavor, technique, and presentation as they create coffee-inspired masterpieces that reflect the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
The competition began with the national preliminary round on the 1st of August and will run through to 18th of August 2024. During this phase, participants across Africa will submit a digital entry here, featuring a detailed recipe, video or written method of preparation, and an image of their coffee creation, all made using DaVinci Gourmet products with Espresso.
Successful entrants will advance to the Africa finals, which will take place in Nairobi, on 14th September where competitors will face a series of espresso-based challenges, judged on technical preparation, flavor complexity, and presentation.
The competition will culminate in the worldwide finals at the prestigious FHA HoReCa event in Singapore from 23rd to 24th October 2024. National champions from each participating country or region will compete for the title, displaying their skills in practical tests, latte art, and the final presentation of their signature coffee beverages.
DaVinci Gourmet, known for its premium syrups and sauces used by top baristas, is dedicated to advancing the craft of coffee making. The Annual Barista Craft Championship serves as a celebration of the art and science of coffee, offering participants an opportunity to push the boundaries of their creativity and technique.

The grand finale, scheduled for August 18th, will see the top contenders go head-to-head in a live showdown, where the 2024 Barista Craft Champion will be crowned. The winner will not only gain international recognition but also receive a significant cash prize and the opportunity to collaborate with DaVinci Gourmet on future product innovations.
