The body was empty

As we tried to reclaim it

Having not lived a bit

It lied on the coffin

Death, How now?

Everyone shivered with the suffering

In faith that the shivering would help a little

Yet nothing could be done

She had gone

An angel

But Death, how now?

It was a good body when seen

Yet it bore not even a single life

It was lifeless

Death, how now?

Look at the mother, see even the sire

The sister is all tears

Could you not see it

Was the art hard for you

But a day will come you death will also die

Death, how now?

Yes death, i have a grudge with you

Yes you have trembled the mighty elephant

You took what was precious

Yes death

You are an enemy

For today she lies before us

But still eager to know

Death, How now?
