There is great need to understand and be self-aware of the Holy Spirit, His nature, His functionality in human beings life, and the promises of God concerning HIM. Consider John 16: 8- 13 : “ And when HE( Holy Spirit) has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment of sin, because they DO NOT BELIEVE IN ME; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when HE, the Spirit of truth, comes, HE will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on HIS own; HE will speak only what HE hears, and HE will tell you what is yet to come.”
Further, it is written: Romans 5: 5-6 “ And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out HIS love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom HE has given us” You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.”
Knowing this and more of the Holy spirit, we are able to understand the great proclamation by Christ Jesus, embrace them fully, and implemented with great conviction and authority: Matthew 28: 18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to ME : Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I AM with you always, to the very end of the age.”
